A made-to-measure suit or garment is tailored based on an existing pattern that is adjusted to fit the our customer’s measurements. It offers limitless customisation of both style, cut and fit, so whatever you’re looking for, we’re sure we can craft it for you.
How long does it take to make a Zebel suit?
We aim to have your custom garment in store, ready for a final fitting within 4-6 weeks. Discuss with our suit specialists in store if you may need it sooner than that! We’re always happy to accommodate where we can.
How is a Bespoke suit different from a Made-to-Measure suit?
A bespoke suit is entirely handcrafted from scratch as opposed to from an existing pattern, according to the client’s unique measurements and specifications. It comes with a higher degree of customisation in terms of fit but also hand-production can take many months and so can often be a very slow, arduous process. Our Made to Measure garments are created using an existing template which is then altered to fit our customer’s precise measurements which results in an almost identical build-quality, far sooner.
What is the process for ordering a Zebel suit?
Our aim is to have your bespoke garment created within two visits to our store. Firstly, you book a consultation, discuss your needs and wants with our suit specialists, and choose from our extensive selection of fabrics and customisation options. We then take your measurements, and that’s all there is to it! Our tailors create the suit in a matter of weeks, then it’s simply a case of you returning to store for a final fitting, where our tailors make their final adjustments to your garment to ensure a perfect fit!
What should I bring to my first consultation?
It’s always useful to have an idea of what you’re looking for before arrival; we’ll ask you about the event you’re attending, any associated colours and styles, and any other relevant information to help steer your decision making; so any fabric swatches, pictures for inspiration from Instagram, Pinterest, or anything you think might help you make those tough calls!
Do you offer alterations after the suit is completed?
We offer final alterations on our suits to make sure you can leave the store fully fitted. Unfortunately, after a break clause of 1 month we no-longer offer alterations as part of the initial suit price.
Can I choose my own fabric and style?
Your entire garment is fully customisable! From the fabric, the fit, the buttons and everything in-between.
What is the cost of a Made to Measure suit?
Our prices start from £599 for a Two Piece suit from our house collection.
How many fittings will I need?
We aim to make sure we have all of the information we need to make your suit with just one single fitting, which will happen during or after your first consultation.
Do you offer bespoke services for women?
